If we decide to work together, we can arrange the best time for regular weekly sessions and agree the best approach for you.
You might prefer open-ended counselling, taking as many sessions as you need, or you might prefer a solution focused or coaching plan of 6 sessions.
It is natural to feel cautious approaching the first session. It is important to remember that your counselling session is your space and that you have control over what you choose to talk about.

It is useful to share anything you have found helpful in the past and what has made things worse for you.
We can start to understand what you are experiencing and how you would like things to change.
To begin with, we will meet each week for 50 minutes.
If it feels appropriate you may be given exercises to carry out between sessions, such as noting down observations, asking other people for information, or trying something new.
